Missoula International School (MIS) presents a menagerie of artistic expression from students aged 3 to 15 years old. Students have created works using watercolor, chalk pastel, fabric, and string, while some incorporated glue, salt, and light and heat in the processes. Their inspiration has come from observing plants, investigating artists, exploring mediums, and experimentation with various materials. Our students pride themselves on being communicators in an ever growing world and part of the MIS mission is to make creative connections with a global perspective which is displayed in this artwork. MIS recognizes that the process of inquiry inspires creativity and critical thinking, and that taking artistic risks develops confidence and nurtures a well-rounded individual. As you explore these works we hope you are transported to a world of imagination and discovery.
