I have spent the last few years driving everywhere around the US helping Non-profit educators promote their programs. Along the way I’ve had the incredible opportunity to experience the gorgeous beauty of our country’s natural spaces and wildlife. From colorful flocks of spoonbills in Louisiana, to graceful Canada geese in the Midwest, to the slowly returning population of Maryland ravens, I’ve been translating my experiences and inspiration into colorful works of art. My show Aviary explores the diverse world of birds, both local and exotic, solitary and gregarious. From feather to beak, I’ve crafted my birds with alcohol ink markers, colored pencils, watercolor, and acrylic paint.
