Drew Nagy Artist Bio:
Drew Nagy is a young composer, playwright, and actor living in Missoula, MT. He started theatrical writing when he was in middle school, and has come a long way since. He performed onstage in four shows over three seasons at the Fort Peck Summer Theatre in Fort Peck, MT where he portrayed the roles of Benjamin in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Eugene in Grease among others. But his love of theatre didn’t end there—he has been seen in a couple Missoula Community Theatre shows at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts; his most notable being Young Terk in their 2016 production of Tarzan.
Drew started work on Unexpected Wish in September of 2013. The first song he wrote was the finale, and to this day it remains the least changed. From there, the plot slowly started to develop. His friends and family have supported the show since it’s initial creation, with everything from his friends helping him read through the script twice, to his mother proofreading it every time he asked her to, and helping him record a few song demos. He would like to thank his mother for being a constant support system, the rest of his family for supporting him come what may, and all of his friends that have helped him thus far whether acting out his work or proudly sitting in the audience.
